Activated Charcoal Peel off Mask

This peel off mask draws dirt, oil, and impurities out of your skin. The activated charcoal locks on to the dirt and grime and rips it out, when you peel it off. This mask is not for sensitive skin.

Don't forget to never use metal when working with bentonite clay, some of the properties of bentonite clay are deactivated by metal.

  • 1 tsp Activated Charcoal
  • 1 tsp Bentonite Clay
  • 2 T Gelatin
  • 2 T Warm Water

Combine warm water and gelatin in a bowl until smooth and set aside to let thicken slightly.

Combine Bentonite Clay and Activated Charcoal Powder in a glass, wood, or plastic bowl.

When the gelatin and water are about the consistency of watery glue, stir in the charcoal and clay mixture until smooth.

Apply to clean, dry face and let dry completely. Once dry, peel off the mask. This mask won't come off in one piece, just peel portion off at a time.

Gelatin is a natural glue-like substance, which works as a binding agent in this peel off mask. Gelatin powder dissolves in  warm water, and thickens as it cools. Once dry, it's rubbery-like.

Activated charcoal powder laches onto dirt and grime in your pores, and draws it to the surface.

Bentonite clay is very healing to the skin. As the impurities are being stripped out by the charcoal and gelatin, the bentonite clay nourishes the skin.
